Hardware
My setup is built around a 13″ MacBook Pro. I don’t have the ‘Touch Bar’. Like the Apple Watch, I really need someone to explain the point of it to me.
I use an iPad Pro with Pencil. I have a case with a Pencil holder and a separate Bluetooth keyboard. I take the iPad everywhere.
I have a basic android phone, a Motorola Moto G4+. A feature phone is not worth the cost given that my iPad is always with me.
It’s tech overkill, given that I have an iPad, but I still use a Kindle Paperwhite extensively. I like to read a lot.
Peripherals
There’s an Anker PowerCore+ battery pack in my bag ready to charge all the above gizmos when I’m out and about (it even charges the MacBook).
When I’m at my desk, I dock my Macbook in a cradle and use an ageing Acer 23-Inch Monitor
for more screen real-estate.
I use a Logitech HD Pro Webcam for video chat and recording.
I use Apple’s Time Machine with a Seagate 2TB Hard Drive. (I’m triple backed-up, as I have Dropbox Pro and Blazeback subscriptions as well. Can’t be too careful.)
A high-volume Brother printer is sat on my desk. It’s cheap to run and churns out all those pages that need editing.
